A stained glass window of Jonah and the whale.
A Greek vase depicting the tale of Jason and the Golden fleece.
A scene from Jason and the Argonauts with the golden fleece on board the ship. As in the Jonah story, someone is going overboard. Gasc cites the tales of the Argonauts in reference to her painting which is also called the "Jonah" piece - Jason`s ship was built in Arcadia which ties it to Poussin`s "Shepherds of Arcadia" and the Rennes-le-chateau mystery. "The Golden Fleece", by Herbert James Draper (1863-1920), English Pre-Raphaelite painter.
